ITEAM Lab

Our scientific research investigates the impacts of climate change, policy decisions, and natural and human disturbances on terrestrial ecosystem processes, at a variety of temporal and spatial scales. We use observations, experiments, and modeling to improve mechanistic understanding of ecosystem response to change.  Utilizing our model-data framework, we are making predictions about carbon and water balance, biodiversity, GHG emissions, climate feedbacks, and disturbance regimes.
